Vintage Cards

Welcome to another addition of Vintage Thingies Thursday with Coloradolady at http://coloradoladyblogspot.com.

Never again will we be able to see or use cards like this anymore.

When wealth is gone, little is lost; when health is gone, something is lost; but when character is gone, all is gone!

I collect postcards from different states. We started when my children were little. I don't think they have pre-printed postcards anymore, do they?

Hello LV, I have missed you and it is good to say hello tonight. a penny postcard and an old calendar are rare indeed. I love your quote and it is so true.

I also read your previous post. It is a beautiful thought written down to share. Friends of our heart are truly a treasure. I am going to see Beverly for a couple of days tomorrow. We are visiting our son nearby. We live about five hours apart in NC and this will be a real special time with my dearest friend of 41 years. Your post touched my heart.
Love, Jeanne

There was a day when you could send cards for pennies!! Do you think it's about the same now since we make SO much more? I like rummaging through old boxes of cards=so fun.

These are great! It is amazing to look back at things we have kept and see how much things have changed!! It will take much more than that to mail that postcard!! Happy VTT!
