Pink Saturday/First,Fifth,Forever

Since the 5th of March falls on Saturday, I will be sharing two different post again.

Beverly's Pink Saturday is my regular feature. She is the fine hostess of the best pink showings around. You can check her show out at http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog.

An old pink vase that I have managed to keep. Sorry, I did not press the pink trimmed tablecloth too well.

I had a busy card month. I sent out the following cards this past month:
A Birthday card, Sympathy card, a Valentine, Thinking of You card, and a Thank You. Each was sent with a personal message. This is the Thank You I sent to the owner of a restaurant that my sister and I had breakfast. Instead of accepting our money, he wished us "Happy Valentine Ladies". That is rare now days. We greatly appreciated his kindness and thoughtfulness. The Coloradolady is the hostess for this special First.Fifth,Forever day.

The owner of that restaurant was very kind, and it was good of you to remember his kindness with the card. People like the two of you make this a much better world.

Did you take the butterfly picture?? It is amazing!! I looked up butterflies last year to find one that is pink for my granddaughter. I could only find ONE that had any pink in it at all!! And this is a different one! Where was this, do you know what it is?

Your vase is so, so pretty. And I love the thank you cards. I was brought up to always send thank you cards and I'm always surprised by the number of people who don't. I feel every time I come across one who does, I've found a kindred spirit.

Email's good, even Facebook, but nothing beats good old fashioned snail mail!

Happy Pink Saturday, dear LaVoice. I love this pretty pink vase. It reminds me of one that belonged to one of my aunts.

Your Valentine's breakfast warms my heart. It was so kind of the owner to share the love in his heart.♥
