This to be an odd and end day for Vintage Thingies Thursday. However, if you join Coloradolady and her many, many friends you will see some greater sights.
These two little Pyrex refrigerator bowls go a long way back. They are either from the 40s or 50s time frame. I was fortunate enough to get them from my mother-in-laws estate.
This little button speaks for itself.
As for this button, I have no idea what it represents or why I have it. I am assuming it had something to do with a drilling company. Odd how we have some things.

Love your little pyrex! The buttons are cool! Funny how we keep something then forget why the heck for! LOL
*hugs*Deb
The little pyrex dishes would be so very handy. I can imagine using them for leftovers made into additional meals.
Have a very wonderful Thursday.

My friend has little pyrex dishes exactly like those, she uses them all the time.
Fun buttons to collect too.
Sunny :)
I love those old refrigerator dishes, and have many of my own. Yes, it's amazing what we hold onto, and then can't remember why we did! There is just no explaining most of the things in our junk drawer!
Happy VTT!
Carol
Love the refrigerator dishes. The rigging button could also be for a type of construction where straps or chains are used according to my husband.
you can never have too many pyrex dishes..yours are lovely :)
I love the colors on the Pyrex dishes.
Talk about some retro stuff! Wow! That presidential button is too funny! Those pyrex dishes are so precious.. What a wonderful little memory. Hugs Anne
I remember those pyrex dishes from my childhood. Wonder if my mother still has them?
Blessings, Beth
So Carter-Mondale are vintage now. Sigh. I think I voted in that election....
I have those two pyrex dishes. I use them as my sugar bowl. I also have a longer one in the blue. I also got them from my Mother in Law. Funny! I just love them.
I love, love the little refrigerator dishes..I love all Pyrex..:).. and the little buttons are nice. Happy VTT.. have a great weekend.
The little Pyrex dishes are fabulous. I remember my mom having some.
I remember my mom having those exact same left-over dishes! Thanks for bringing back an old memory.
Oh, those pyrex dishes are so cute..I did not know you had such cute little dishes....love them....maybe you should bring them to my house...of course for me to put food in...but I might not send them back! Have a great VTT
Maybe the rigging button has to do with sailing? See, I live on the coast and that's the first thing I thought of, and you live in TX and though oil rig! Interesting how that happens!
The refrigerator dishes are loved by many...even here in VTT land. I am sure they will be along to admire them.
LOVE your pyrex refrigerator dishes! I found a couple at Goodwill last year. I love them!

Hello Meme, the pyrex dishes do bring back memories. The buttons like that have always been fun for some people to collect. Someone would know what the Rigging button stands for. Yes, we do keep the oddest things sometimes. smile.
Have a great day tomorrow.
Hugs, Jeanne
Love those little pyrex dishes. When I was a girl in the 1970s I had a plastic set of these to use in my play kitchen. Sure wish I still had those. Yours are so pretty.
The pyrex are such lovely colors. I picked up a few bowls myself recently. Thanks for sharing.
The shape, size and colour of your Pyrex dishes are just perfect!
Love your pyrex!
Oh I love your Pyrex refrigerator dishes...I remember my Mom had one she used for butter.

I always love the little Pyrex containers - they are just small and sweet!
I love finding old buttons. They are quite the collectable. The pyrex is really nice, do you use it? Happy VTT
Happy Thursday! Love the buttons.
Good Morning. So nice to meet you. Good for you for having a blog and no you don't need to be a good writer, just be yourself. That is why we all blog, to just have some fun. Thanks for sharing your treasures.
Love the Pyrex dishes! And the Carter Mondale election was the first one I remember as a child. It is amazing how some things just stay with us through our lives, isn't it?
LV,
These are some great vintage pieces to share. I've never seen Pyrex that small but love it!
If you get a chance, stop by and participate in some of my giveaways, most of them end this weekend! I'd love to have you join!
Love and Hugs ~ Kat
I love your cute little Pyrex dishes! Thanks for coming over to my blog to say hello!! I just found some Pyrex and I'm wondering how long it will last with 2 teenage boys handling it!
It's neat to see the pyrex dishes as my mom also has some of these in yellow--they are rectangular. Thanks for sharing!

Oh I love your refrigerator dishes! I have several that I use often for storing leftovers. I missed you last week on Pink Saturday. Hope to see you back this week.

These are interesting odds and ends. My mother had refrigerator bowls exactly like the ones you've shown.
