It is much too cold to be outdoors in Texas today. However, there will be many nice Outdoor Wednesday sights to warm you at Susan's A Southern Daydreamer.
Two of nature's critters visiting my yard and patio.
In fact, one of these big lizards, or whatever it is, got into my house one day. He really created some excitement. I will not go into the details of how I finally got him out. Trust me, it was not easy.

Oh me oh my....I see a lizard on your blog. Nice job!

A blue-tongued lizard got into my walk-in wardrobe one night and we couldn't find him. I spent a sleepless night imagining him crawling up the leg of my bed.
I don't see a lot of lizards here in Missouri. And certainly none have gotten into my house. I think I would go into hysterics if I saw one inside my home, but my son would be begging to keep it as a pet. lol. Hope you stay inside where its warm and cozy. Rosie
Brooms. Lizards are scared of brooms, and since I am scared of them, if I grab a broom, I can keep them at arms length while I open a door and "help" them go back outside.
At least that's what I do.
OMGosh, LV...a lizard inside my house would surely have me climbing the walls....
HA those little lizards are sneaky!
Looks like a pretty junco and a neat lizard. You have some nice critters in your yard.
LV,
Out here living in the desert gives us so many opportunities to see creatures like the lizards we wouldn't see anywhere else. We love the unique environment to see what will wander or flutter its way in to visit.

That's a beautiful bird Ms. Elvie.

I have had lizards in the house..., and it is a project to get them outside again.
Aren't they interesting creatures though? Little prehistoric monsters that just want to lounge in the sun and eat lots of insects. They certainly don't come into a house on purpose. or EAT PEOPLE. Glad you got it outside again without too much trauma.
That little birdie is so sweet....cannot say the same for the lizard! ICKY! I'd faint if I saw one of those in my house!!!!
Oh my ... what a BIG lizard! Love the little birdie ;-)
Hugs and blessings,
What a sweet little bird. The lizard isn't so bad as long as he stays out of the house.
So cute birdie, LV! and the lizard, reminds me of days our dogs captured lizards in our backyard. They just killed and leave them. One time, we tried to save one lizard which was not severely harmed by the 2 dogs and we put him back in the bushes after days of recuperating.Lizards do come here in our backyard to have a feast of garden snails.
Thanks for the visit..
Have a nice day
