REDnesday

Please join me along with Sue Loves Cherries and lives in It's A Very Cherry World, and her many friends for Rednesday. You will find many different reds shown that you probably never would have thought of.

As you can see I am getting desperate for reds. This a red horse trailer I found in my neighborhood.

Now this takes the cake, my red lawn mower. You may think I am more nuts than usual, but this was the best, nicest, and most needed Christmas gift I have ever received. My son and his wife gave it to me in December 2001. I got to where I could not pull the cord on my old one. This one, I just prime it, turn a key, and start mowing. I do so enjoy being outside and doing my yard work. I know the time is coming when I can't, but for now I will keep mowing.

I've got a bum hip, so I don't cut the grass anymore, and I tell you, I do not miss it! At all.I think it's great that you like to though, and thank goodness they are making mowers that only start with a turn of the key!
Happy Rednesday!

I had to go with an electric mower. Could not pull the cord, even as a young woman...just a weakling...I like your mower; it looks like it cuts a nice wide path.

That's the spirit - you mow, girl!

I do everything physically possible outdoors until I have to ask for help, but I don't mow - gotta make hubby feel useful!

I know what you mean about pulling the chord. I may need to ask Santa for a key start mower. Just my kind of gift!
Cute blue phone caller and just adore you pinks.
Thanks for visiting over the fence at my place ;-)

You cut your own grass? WOW! Now, that's impressive. I haven't cut my grass since I was in my 30s. Good for you!

It's so nice to meet you LV! Thank you for visiting my blog today and leaving a comment. I added myself to your fllowers as I'd like to see more of your blog in the future.

Good for you to keep up the mowing. My Mom is 87 and still does all her own yard work! Gardening is great exercise!

I dislike mowing intensely, but I love red! My sister does the mowing and I do the weeding, we share in the trimming, so it all works out fine.

Hi There, well that sure is a pretty red trailer...good for you still mowing your lawn. You remind me of my daddy ...you just can't stop him. He is also 79 and stays busy doing something all the time.I am just turning 50 and find it hard to much of anything with severe arthritis hindering me so much...I wish I could be a more active person...

Bless you,I have enjoyed my visit here...

I made such a mistake! LOL The comment from John was really from me--Smiling Sally. John is my husband and I forgot to switch back to my name to comment.

I am impressed too that you are still mowing your lawn. My parents are 79 years old this year. My father is slowing way down and not doing much due to his Parkinson's. But my mother is still pretty active though. I am glad you found something RED to post. Thanks for your visits to my blog recently!
