 Galvanized bucket hanging.

These type buckets can be used for so many things. I have a few.  They make great planters and watering containers.

Sue's REDnesday, invites you to stop and view the reds after a busy Thanksgiving. They can be found at http://suelovescherries.blogspot.com.

Many of you are great cooks and enjoy it.  My mother always wore an apron when she was in the kitchen.  Not sure if she ever had a red one.  She made delicious cakes as well.

Giving Thanks on Pink Saturday

Beverly, I am thankful you let us be part of your Pink World each week.  She takes on a Pink Saturday journey that is unbelievable.  Take time to visit her and friends at http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog and find out what they are thankful for.

Take time to call someone and let them know you care. Share your blessings with those that are in need or bad health.  We all have been blessed more than we give thanks.  I know I have.  The very most important thing to me is having had good health to this point. If you have your health, other things will work out.  Thankful also for all my many, great blogging friends that have been so kind to include me into their worlds. My greatest wish to each and everyone is that you will be richly blessed in all phases of your life..

"I am so thankful I missed the table this year.  It was a close call as you can see below.  They almost got me.  However, did leave me in a rather pitiful state."

See you next Thanksgiving.

Gathering at Pink Saturday

Beverly has invited each of us to join her for a big Thanksgiving gathering on Pink Saturday. This will be the only opportunity for us to do so before Thanksgiving.  Best wishes to each of you on this special day. Everyone is gathering at http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog

For just a small family of two, this might suit your turkey needs.

Most families will be observing the holiday in this fashion.  Good company, wonderful food and TV.

A family that knows what the true meaning of Thanksgiving is all about.  Blessings to all of you for a great day.

Vintage Thingie Thursday

Coloradolady invites you to join her at http://coloradolady.blogspot.com for the best vintage show in town. You can also say hello by clicking her button.

During my roaming around, I spotted this very old, well worn book. In fact, I was afraid to handle it very much, as it WAS VERY OLD AND EASILY TORN.  I found it to be a very interesting vintage find.

Outdoor Wednesday

Stopping by to say hello to Susan and her Outdoor Wednesday participates. With fall foliage in most places, you should find some great outdoor sights here: http://asoutherndaydreamer.blogspot.com

A lonely bird wondering what has happened to mother nature.  By this time of the year in Texas, they should have flown South.

If you look closely, a squirrel is in the tree.  I had to take this in a hurry as they move too fast.  Picture not the best.

Golden sun tipped leaves.

Blue Monday Fly-Away

Smiling Sally

Sharing a part of my travel ventures with Sally and friends on Blue Monday. When you go to http://smilingsally.blogspot.com you will find some great blues.

Departing destination.

Dallas-Fort Worth view from plane window.

Looking down the first class section aisle toward the entrance.

Back of seat in front of me.

Awesome cloud sight.

Arrival destination.

This flight was one of the best I have been on in a long time. Things worked like clock work from start to finish.  We had an excellent pilot that came into the cabin and talked to us. Never had one to do that before.  Now, the return flight was an entirely different situation.
