Cold,Sad,Blue Monday

The New Year is definitely starting off in a very blue, sad fashion for me.  However, if you will drop  by
magicalmysticalteacher.wordpress.com there should be some Happy New Year wishes.

This dear lady and I met in late 1940's.  We went to work for the telephone company the same day. In fact, they had to figure out a way to determine who would have more seniority.  I won out, but do not recall what they did.
Not too good, clear photos due to age and type of camera.  We remained friends all through the years.  Due to distance between us, we did not get to socialize often, but kept in touch via phone or mail. She was four years older then me. All the pictures you see behind us is her various family members.  She loved her family and the Lord. All our calls ended with her saying "God Be the Glory".
Due to failing health during the past few years, we lost her this past week.  I had not talked to her for the past couple of years as she did not know who I was. So sad.  One of the longest, sweetest friends I have ever had. Dear Rene rest peace and thanks for all the treasured memories. The good Lord must have needed another angel for Christmas.  If only, everyone could have faith like she did.
Her favorite song was "It is well with my soul".

So sorry for the loss of your dear friend. I have one like that too and she has Liver cancer but we still talk and keep the faith. Good New Year to you.

I am so sorry that you lost your long-time friend. It is so hard as we age to start to lose those we love to age and illness. I know she kept you tucked into her heart and mind as long as she was capable of doing that. My heart aches for you. However, I do believe that we will be reunited with those we love again. Love to you- Diana

Dearest LV.,
Never easy for losing a dear friend with whom you shared so many special years working and staying in touch.
Sad that there was no real contact with you for the past couple of years but now, she is fully aware once more, from heaven looking down onto her loved ones. Being that special Angel that others know by name.
Hugs,
Mariette
