Anything Goes Pink Saturday

In keeping with Beverly's allowing us to share anything, mine really falls in that category this week. No doubt if you visit http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog you will find some most interesting sights.

A few days ago, there was an accident at the intersection near my home. The fire truck was the first to arrive. The street is very busy. The cactus you see are in my firont yard.
Then the ambulance arrived and many police cars.
This car received more damage than shown.
Now this poor fellow was not so lucky. Apparently, he did not live in my neighborhood or he would have known how bad traffic is. He was injured and taken to the hospital, but nothing life threatening. They had a hard time getting him out of his car due to being pinned in upside down by air bags and seat belt. He had been to the grocery store. He thought it was a four way stop sign. He stopped and started moving, but the car that hit him did not have to stop and did not. Just plowed right into him.  The police had to take all his groceries and put in patrol car.
Stay safe.

I hate accidents -especially when they are totally preventable. The poor guy and I know he wishes he had been more cautious. xo Diana

Oh my --what a terrible accident! I'm glad the passenger was not killed or seriously hurt. It must have been scary for you to see that LV.

I always scratch my head on how people get in these kind of wrecks.

Four-way stops can be very bad, even if I have a green light I look both ways.

Yikes! Seems so strange that he was turned over like that, must have been hit pretty hard?
How nice of the officer to save his groceries. :-)

Have a terrific week~~
