Blue Monday

A very nice Blue Monday in Texas.  Fall like weather for a change and the Cowboys won. Now I am going to pay Jeanne a visit at backyardneighbor.typepad.com

Nothing like blue skies smiling down on you.

Some of the most beautiful blue birds in Hartsel, Colorado.

Oh those bluebirds are so pretty. I so wanted to see a mountain bluebird when we were in Montana, but never did. Thanks for sharing your pretty blue pics.

Oh wow, I've never seen a stellar jay up close, but these are simply beautiful. They definitely look related to our blue jays. Super photo. Today we have a lovely Autumn day, sunny with temps in the 60's. Spring and Fall, you just can't find better weather. Now I'm off to take Pogo outside for a while to enjoy some fresh air. You have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.

Beautiful blue jay birds. Thanks for sharing.

How beautiful the birds are! They are jays. The western blue jays look totally different from the ones here in the east.

Hi LV, The Western Bluejays are very colorful and brighter than in the NC mountains. We saw a lot of them when we rented Suzanne's cabin. We threw bird food out each morning and loved watching the wildlife come and eat. Love your photo today.

We are in Fl again for a Gator game this coming Sat. We are staying with our daughter for the week. It is a long drive and we take the time to visit our dtrs when we can. They also have season tickets to the Gator games.

Have a wonderful week my sweet friend. I trust you are rested up by now. I am praying for your sister to continue healing.
Love, Jeanne

Okay you did not mention the name of those gorgeous looking birds but TexWisGirl did name them: Stellar Jays.
That is indeed an incredible looking bird!
Thanks for sharing with us.

I was out and about in northern Arizona Sunday afternoon, and spotted a mountain blue jay. Your photo reminded me of that chance sighting. Thank you!

These birds were so fascinating I googled "Big Blue Jay, Colorado" and got them first try---don't you just love being able to learn so much with a simple click of the mouse? I love their charming little top-knots---and they look almost like tiny peacocks in your picture.

I hope you and your Sister are doing well---I think of you so often and wish you well, so far away.
