Blue Monday

We are spending today with Jeanne at backyardneighbor.typepad.com

My great grandson, Layton, that has about grown up on Blue Mondays. His favorite color is blue and he would make a point each Monday to read the blogs. This was taken our day at Buc-ee's.

I just stumbled upon your blog today, and I think you are wonderful!!!!! My own mother is 86, and I can't wait to share your blog with her, as I think she could really benefit from your wisdom. She used to be a lot like you, but 5 years ago, my sister died very unexpectedly, and 3 days later, my mothers husband died. I don't think she will ever truly recover from that. I spend a lot of time with my mother, working on crafts for my website and blog, and trying to keep her spirits up, so I will look forward to bringing my laptop to her house tomorrow, and reading your blog together.
I have a vintage website and blog that I think you might enjoy. When you have some time, I hope you will take a look at it and let me know what you think.
Thanks for your lovely blog!! Have a wonderful day!

I so love photos of grands together. Our 2 ggsons are only 2. Haven't had time to make many memories yet since we don't see them often. I too like his name. Layton very elegant.

Hello my sweet friend, I saw your email and couldn't reply because our service was still down. I am so glad you were able to link up finally. Layton is such a sweet and very handsome great grandson and I know being close to him as been wonderful for you. I love the photo you shared. Since we just visited our first great granddaughter at 4 months, I am sure she will also grow up on my blog as well. Big smile here.

Happy Blue Monday dear LV,
Love,
Jeanne

Isn't Buc-ee's only in Texas? There's a big one half way between here and Galveston. I love to visit. Their claim to fame is clean restrooms and they're not kidding! I like to pick up a few Texas gifts for out of state relatives at Christmas. I hope you and your great grandson had a good Buc-ee's visit!

Layton is a very handsome young man. He is so blessed to have a great-grandparent in his life. I had 2 of my great-grandmothers until I was very nearly 30, and one of them, I was especially close to. Not all people even get to enjoy grands, let alone great-grands. What a joy for those who do...like Layton.

Blessings,
Patti
