Anything Goes Pink Saturday

A special greeting to Beverly and her Saturday friends. Wishing all the mothers a very happy mother's day Sunday. However, when you go to http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog some very special sights await.
Roses as you know are my love in flowers and are special for mothers.

I lost my mother much too soon.  She was only 54.

It's such a sad thing to loose one's Mother, I think that it is a thing for which we're never prepared, but to loose her when she's still so very young is a tragedy ...

Hope you're having a lovely PINK SATURDAY, sweet friend of mine,
sending much love to you ♥

Happy Mother's Day to you, my sweet friend. I am looking forward to spending the day with my husband and son. We will go visit my mother, and take her some flowers and cards. I am trying not to be overcome with the sadness of her situation.

Happy Pink Saturday.♥

My maternal side has been pretty good on staying alive. My paternal grandparents are dead, as well as my father. Both of my mom's parents are still alive. My mother is 56 currently.

Have a lovely Mother's Day, LV, and thank you so much for the kind comment on our daughter's wedding. Your mom was definitely too young. Every day is a gift, isn't it.
Enjoy those beautiful roses.

I hope your Mother's Day is a wonderful one! You have a terrific family. It is hard to lose our mothers, and I am sorry you lost your mom at such a young age. during the holidays I often think of my late father-in-law who was orphaned at age five. I can not even imagine his pain growing up with not so kind relatives. My mom lived to nearly 88 years! I still miss her terribly as well as my dad who was taken in his 70's way too soon. xo

Happy Mothers Day! We attended a Mothers Day brunch this morning in a town about 5 miles away with our daughter and her family. Wewere surprised to meet our old next door neighbor who had moved away to Chicago a year ago, in the serving line just in front of us. He was treating his mom and dad, so we all had a nice visit. I was lucky to have both grandmothers as a small child, but they also both left this world all too soon.

Dearest LV.,
Happy Mother's Day; for Texas time it still is Sunday...
You sure lost your Mom very young and have had to do without her on this earth.
But our Moms do live forever in our hearts and who knows, from heaven they even could be closer to us...
Wishing you well and today we both biked for the first time (for me!) since I managed to scan ALL family photos, slides etc. from both sides of the family... What a great feeling that is for having it DONE!
Don't like to sit for that many hours but there was no alternative.
Big hugs,
Mariette
