Blue Monday

This is the third Blue Monday I am showcasing special fellows in my world. Of course, to qualify, they have to wear blue.  Be sure to check out the pretty blues Jeanne and friends will have at
backyardneighbor.typepad.com

This is Lem and he is four years old.  He is the most content little fellow to just play by himself with his trucks and  tractors.  They bring him much pleasure.
He has a brother and sister a little older. Awhile back, the family decided to plant a garden.  Each child was given a pick whatever they wanted to plant.  Of course, they picked a vegetable, but when it came to Lem, he had different ideas.

He planted the smaller versions of his trucks, tractors and toy animals. O' for the mind of a child!

It appears, the plants are doing well, but no trucks or tractors.  May take a tad longer.

Hello LV, I have the Link up now. I was having a bit of trouble but go ahead and link now. I did this without Beverly's help this week so i hope all is well.

Lem is adorable and your story is adorable. You are right, no truck or cars will be growing in this garden. Big smile here.

Have a wonderful week.
Happy Blue Monday.
Love, Jeanne

Reminds me of a simpsons episode where Homer goes to his Dad's farm and tries to revive it. He goes to the store to get seed and the owner mocks him for trying to grow anything in that awful soil. He says he will as he's putting things in a bag and then the owner says "not if you're planting gummy bears"

If he loves tractors now, just imagine what sorts of vehicles he'll "play" with as an adult!

He's so adorable. Don't you just love a child's imagination? Wouldn't it be something if little trucks really did start to grow? I enjoyed today's post. You have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.

I also had a little vegetable patch as a child, now I have a large one. :) But I can´t remind myself that I ever tried to plant any toys back then to make them grow bigger.

That reminds me of the Walmart ad where the little girl plants jelly beans. A child's mind is so precious and they teach us while they learn too. :)

What a sweet story of a very content boy indeed.
Love his phantasy for planting favorite things in a garden...
But the foundation is a good one.
