Anything Goes Pink Saturday

Welcome to another Pink day with Beverly.  If you go to http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog
you will probably find many interesting things.
Since blogging allows us to meet friends technically, wanted to share what one of mine from Sweden sent me. How great it would be to meet some of them in person.  Blogging has been a blessing for this senior. I am able to still be in contact all over the world. This is the outside of the package as it arrived.  The pictures are copies of her art work.

She has the most beautiful flower garden ever.  This is a scene from it that she used as card.
A special greeting from AnnA.

This is the wrapper from a candy bar she sent.  My, was it ever good!  I could have eaten many more.  It was similar to our mounds in the states.

This is an handcrafted heart with a touch of spices.  She did not make it, but a friend did.  She has sent things in the past that she did make as well as a print of her art work.  The believe sign is one I have in my bathroom and attached her heart to it.  That way, if you Believe you receive.

It amazing how many friends one can get all over the world. I know many in my circle who are Canadian, some are Italian, Southeast Asian, Finnish, Norwegian, Eastern European, and one guy is of Asian descent but he lives in the United Arab Emirates in the city of Dubai

The internet has really enriched out lives in many ways. How fun to receive all that in the mail. I also received a beautiful post card from an internet friend today. I love going to the mailbox and finding something fun. Happy Pink Saturday!

I agree that the internet keeps us connected. I have often said that many of my friends live on the internet.

I agree, the Internet -- especially Blogging -- is wonderful for seniors. I still meet women in our age ranges who refuse to learn to use the computer at all -- it makes me so sad for them, they are missing so much and the older they get, the more they will wish they could use it.

You are such a good friend to so many people -- those are lovely gifts from your Swedish friend.
