Anything Goes Pink Saturday

Beverly is being very kind in allowing us to share things other than pink.  I still tend to try and find something as I know she loves it. When you visit her at http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog
never know what beautiful sights you will find.

I found this beauty on the Internet.

Deer season is open in a lot of different places.  In Texas, hunters are out dreaming of getting a large one.

Hi, LV....Bill used to love going deer hunting...now, it's just too much walking for him.
Happy Sat...xoxo

Deer Season! I live in Texas and grew up in a family of hunters, but it's never been something I wanted to do. I don't understand the sport in killing innocent animals.

Hello LV, It has been way too long since I have had much time to get on my computer. I have missed you my sweet friend. Love the deer photo. Hunting has always been a part of my family. Venison is delicious and I grew up on it.

I hope all is well for you. It is good to be home and I am so glad we are home from France right now. How sad to see the terrorist attacks.

Take care.
Love you,
Jeanne

Always fun to find some pinks at Pink Saturday! I have missed many of these fun pinks but am there today too. Have a wonderful weekend and take care.

As a vegetarian, I don't like the idea of hunting especially just for the fun of it. I wish more hunters would take the Native American approach of never wasting any part of the animal.

Hello LV, just started back blogging after about a year hiatus. Things have changed a lot and I am trying to find my way back to some of my old favorites. There is a lot of deer hunting in Ky. but my family has never been a part of that tradition. There is an abundant supply of them around my neck of the woods. Have to be very careful on our roads. Blessings to you.

What a beautiful picture of the deer among the Autumn forest setting. The colors are fabulous. I loved your fence photos too. These fall colors are my favorites.

Tonight I'll soon be busy finishing up an afghan, only two more rows to go. Woo Hoo! Then I need to finish the baby blanket I'm making. Gosh, the holidays are approaching so quickly.

I really really really need to push myself and get started on the wrapping. That's my least favorite part of gift giving, but alas, it must be done. Tomorrow I'll start. (that's what I always say and look how far behind I am now!) haha.

Well, I'm off to my comfy lounge chair. You have a wonderful evening. Hugs, Edna B.
