Tuesday With MeMe

 DID YOU KNOW

With thirty-two historical bridges, Parke County, Indiana is considered by many to be the Covered Bridge Capital of the World.

The milk bottle was invented in 1884.  Plastic milk containers came later in 1964.

According to most sources, Route 66 is two thousand four hundred and forty-eight miles long. It was commissioned in 1926 and crosses eight states and three time zones.

With peppers, bigger may not be better, especially if you like them hot.  Generally, the smaller the pepper, the hotter and none of the hottest peppers in the word are more than three inches long.

You may have heard that a cow has four stomachs.  Not true.  A cow has only one stomach, which contains four digestive compartments.  Each compartment performs a different function.

When one has tasted watermelon he knows what the angels eat.

Sad that Route 66 is not like it used to be. It was built in 1926, so less than a hundred years ago, but it used to be THE thing to see.

I don't doubt the milk one. All the re-runs from shows that had milk being drunk or seen made during that time period were all made of glass

I have done some traveling on Route 66. Not what it used to be, but still some fun areas.
