Blooming Tuesday With MeMe

A GLORIOUS SIGHT
These are a few captures of the beautiful sight I saw when I returned from my trip.  My flowers have been very pretty in the past, but nothing compared to now.  Have no idea what made them show off this time. Glad I took these as we had a terrible storm over the weekend and they are kinda sick looking.  Trust they bounce back.

People stop and make pictures of this rose bush. These snapshots do not do justice.

This is yellow rose from Tyler, Texas that I have had several years.  Until this year, it had only one big rose right on top.  Now it is covered.

They are wonderful!! Let's see, roses, iris, tulips. What are the brilliant blue flowers in the center picture? They are all glorious! We have nothing like this in our yard.

how very beautiful! i bet it was the snows this winter that gave them extra nitrogen? or something. :)

My goodness your flowers are so lovely. They are big, and bold and brightly colorful! we are having nicer weather today. I am happy. I had to walk over to Noelle's house to let their dogs out so their landlord could go in and repair the old stove and bring in a better one! Those dogs were so calm after they romped in the yard for an hour.I am killing weeds, those nasty, clinging ones that just take over and strangle everything else in its path. I have tired so many things and found a simple solution, it is time consuming but I am working everyday day for few hours. You boil 1 quart of water and then add two tablespoons of salt and 5 tablespoons of vinegar. We have tried it before with other ingredients and the weeds were worse. This kills them but you can not pour it around anything you do not wish to kill off! Always good to see you here. My friend Jean retired in Tyler, Texas, she is an Okie from Oklahoma! Hugs to you, Anne

Dearest LV,
You are so lucky for having such wonderful flowers in your garden. All that rain and snow has yielded something. Enjoy them while they last!
Hugs,
Mariette

What beautiful, beautiful pictures of those flowers, LV. No Spring here yet. We woke up to heavy snow coming in off the bay. It has melted but is spitting snow off and on as the day goes along. I am SOOO longing for some flowers and greens! xo Diana

So beautiful, that red rose especially!

I wish I could grow flowers like that. Our soil is different somehow...used to be a cow pasture because even seasoned farmers (my husband's grandfather and great-grandfather) couldn't make anything grow in it! ;-) oh well...we have trees! We have considered using big pots. Hmm...that may work!
