Blue Monday

Smiling Sally

I had to warm up from my "cold shock" before doing Blue Monday.  I live in Fort Worth, and as you can see, we went from 101 to 58 degrees in a days time.  Was not ready for that.  I am not a winter person. Glad Sally will be sharing some warm blues at

This is definitely not a President's blue room, but one where you could relax and rest.

Where is this blue room? That shade of blue would drive me nuts after awhile! Too bright! I am not a winter person either. The older I get, the more I dislike it. I want light and flowers!

Now this is for sure a BLUE Room, LV! Yes, I'd like it a softer blue shade, like a sea blue, not a Winter cold Blue.
Have a lovely week.

Hi La Voice,

I would not like the chilly weather either. And, that shade of blue for the sofa . . . Well, I must tell you, I wouldn't choose it for my home. Too intense! Thanks for playing today.

Happy Blue Monday!

I'm a fall person and love the cooler weather so I can throw on a sweatshirt and be outside. However I'm not a fan of our big snow and freezing weather that will show up in December. That couch looks really cuddly.

Wow! That's a very dramatic temperature change LV! Great blue room but I'm with the others, that sofa is just a bit too vibrant ;-)

I was visiting in Plano once when there was a similar drop in temperature. I think I would be very happy not to be at 101 anymore, summer is weighing heavy on me with all the heat this year.
