Pink Saturday

Pink Saturday with Beverly each week is such a pleasure.  When you stop by her place at
http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog, you will be blessed with great pinks.

After I took this, was not sure what it represented. At the time, all I was thinking I found something in pink. Later, learned it is a shirt for a musical group with this name

A sad loss of this special lady.

Happy Pink Saturday/Valentine's Day! We also lost "Daddy Walton". I liked him.

I hope you enjoy your day, just the same. :)

Oh I know - wasn't Shirley Temple the best and she lived such a good life after being a child star. So many today could take a lesson from her. Happy Valentine's Day, LV. Hope it's filled with love. xo Nancy

I remember watching all the Shirley Temple movies on TV with my mom when I was a little girl. She was a child star who didn't grow up to be a criminal, and I loved her movies so much. I was so sad to hear of her passing.

OOO, LV, I literally cried when I found out she passed away. O, I know she had a long, wonderful life but it's always sad to see the ones your grew up loving pass on. She is the most talented girl that ever lived....and sooo cute.

I'm surprised Temple wasn't older than she really was. Been well over a half a century since her prime

Hi LV - I've missed seeing you around the blog-o-verse. Mainly coz real estate biz and grandkid wrangling has been keeping me extra busy :) Loved the sweet pix of a fave actress of mine as well. Have a blessed week! :)
