Vintage Thingies Thursday

Super big Vintage show going on today at Coloradolady's. Great items are being featured at http://coloradolady.blogspot.com

Recently had dinner at this neat restaurant.  It had vintage things all over.  The iron skillets and cans caught my eye. That was the only kind of skillet we had when growing up.  They are still popular today.

I can vision this vintage spool/thread cabinet being in some little old, country store.  Probably the only place the ladies back then could come to get thread, if they had the money.

I don't think I've ever been out to eat at place with vintage items. Except (sorta) cracker barrel.

I love that spool cabinet and have never seen anything like it! By the way, who IS ColoradoLady? Is she a relative or a friend?

Black skillets!! I don't think you can have too many, except for storage space, and then I'd be willing to throw out clothes or a LOT of kitchen gew-gaws to make room.

There's a tee-ninecy windchime tinkling in a back flowerbed right now, with a miniature black skillet as the clapper.

I just love seeing old vintage things --many which remind me of my past. I used to have the BEST cast iron skillet which I loved. Don't know what happened to that one--but it was wonderful for many years...

Hugs,
Betsy

Hello LV, I love the vintage spool chest. My aunt has one and it is so awesome. You hardly ever see them now. I am trying to figure out something to post fr Vintage Thursday too.
I commented on your turtle from Outdoor Weds. Smile.

I love vintage things :o) What a great display case for thread. I would love to find something like that to help organize in my art/sewing/quilting/craft room :o)

Thank you dear, dear friend for not giving up on my blog and for stopping by with your sweet comment.

I have you on my blog list, but since moving, I have not done much blog visiting at all....and my previous post from today's was November of last year!!! Goodness, time passes so quickly!

Blessings & Aloha!
