Vintage Thingie Thursday

It is a cold, dreary day for a vintage outing. However, I am sure if you drop by http://coloradolady.blogspot.com you will find some great vintage finds to warm you.

It has been a long time since we had to use

these ribbons, thank goodness.

A vintage shot of the Beatles out for a nice, sunny walk.

Oh yes sweet lady...I don't want to use typrewriter ribbon anymore, it was such a mess, lol!! The picture of the Beatles strolling Abby Road (I think) is a classic, I totally love!! Have a great weekend.

My dad used to use one of those "doggies" in your first picture to hold his wallet, change and watch! Thanks for the memories, LV!!!

What a cute dish! And the cover of Abbey Road, of course I had the record, who didn't. Remember the famous rumor that Paul was dead? One of the reasons they gave was a clue that he wore no shoes on this picture, so crazy!

How long since I've seen one of those ring-and-bobby-pin pups! Aunt Lo had one on her dresser, and it was heavy as lead, and such a slick stone that it always had a shine to it, despite the flurries of Coty powder on everything else.

What a memory.

Hope you're having a sunny Spring!
