Blue Monday

Smiling Sally
Welcome aboard the Smiling Sally express. She takes you on a great ride through numerous lovely blue sights.  Get your ticket at

My blues are not the greatest, but will have to do.  Going to have to "shake the bushes" more for something better.  Just a speck of blue will have to do this week.
My family had an old churn but it was not a pretty blue.  I have churned many a pound of butter.

May today be a gift you will always treasure

Hand churned . . . now, that's work!

Thanks for sharing these blues.

Happy Blue Monday, La Voice.

I love those little toadstools - they are so cute!
I bet churning butter was hard work - I like the churn, very rustic looking and it would look great in an old farmhouse.
Happy Blue Monday!

Good morning LV, I like your toadstools and you always find something fun to share in every post. I too have to shake the bushes these days for blue. I have very little blue in my home. I do have a blue and yellow bedroom in our cabin. I have shared it more than once though.

Churning butter is something my mom did on our dairy farm long ago. My son has her old churn. It is a treasure and he loves antiques. When I sold antiques for a few years my card had a pic of my mom's old churn.

Have a wonderful and happy day.
Love,
Jeanne

I churned a few times and thought it was fun....hahhaa...my mama had me fooled into thinking all housekeeping, cooking and such, was just plain fun. Of course, when I got about 10, I realized she was fooling me. :))

That little blue churner looks very pretty, I thought it would be more like a wooden bucket. It must have been hard work, but rewarding.

How interesting, I've only seen wooden churners before! Like your bluespotted one!
