Blue Monday Post Ofice

Smiling Sally

Another exciting day is in store for everyone at http://smilingsally.blogspot.com. Our hostess, Sally, truly enjoys seeing what you will send her on Blue Monday.

This is a small post office a few miles from my house.  It is located in an area filled with various businesses.  All the buildings are warehouse style. I could walk to a post office nearer me, but prefer going here simply because of the postal clerk.

This lady is there everyday except Tuesdays.  She is just the nicest person ever to deal with.  Always so pleasant and helpful.. Never  having to stand in long lines.

In this photo, she is weighing my package and giving me all that spill they have to say.

Ending our transaction with a warm smile and best wishes.

Wishing for you moments of simple pleasure and the joy of sharing a friend.

Thanks for patronizing the Post Office! That schpeel that she gives you helps you save money and let's remember 'if it fits, it ships' in those free Priority Mail boxes you can pick up there for free! You can also hand them to your mail carrier avoiding a trip to the PO...but then you'd miss Smilin' Sally.

i think as we grow older, we value more the friendly service. just a a couple of weeks ago, i brought new tires for my car and the sales people there needed to learn how to treat customers. i promised them i will never buy my tires from them again!

She has a pleasant look, and that's worth so much. I'd choose to go there too, if I could. Thanks for sharing.

Happy Blue Monday, La Voice.

You know, I mailed a package at our little branch here last week, and the nice young lady who waited on me could have been her sister. I was thinking this morning that I just floated through the transaction because everybody in line was quiet and friendly, and she was great at her job.

Isn't it nice that we have such pleasant folks to deal with?

Happy Blues!

What a wonderful tribute to a friendly, helpful post office employee. All to often we only hear bad things about the post office.
