Makes me want to take off my shoes and wade! Not sure what time of year you took this, though....might be too cold!

Shadow makes sun seem brighter. Love the contrast.

So serene and calm, must be relaxing to just sit there for a while and think about life!

Ah, LV... even the peaceful stream has a few bumpy stones to cross. But aren't those what make life interesting...? Happy weekend to you!

If it weren't for the shadows, the sunshine wouldn't be nearly as bright!

It certainly is a peaceful stream. Reminds me of the 23rd Psalm. "He leadeth me beside still water. He restoreth my soul." Happy SSS to you.

I so love shadows and you do such a tremendous job at portraying them. As a little girl; and I still do I would sit in places and trace the shadows with my mind's finger and not quite sure why but it's been something I've been doing since I remember...

The sun shines on a peaceful and calm waterway. It feels warm, the water great for cooling on a hot day. The quiet we can hear, to relaxing feeling slows us down a bit - no need to move fast all the time, stop and enjoy if only for a bit...

A lovely tranquil scene!

A peaceful stream it is indeed. We have several in our surrounding area. With Mammoth Cave National Park and the many lakes near us streams are abundant. We used to go for hikes and visit some of them, something we need to do more often. Love your photo, thanks for sharing!

And I often wonder why life cannot be as peaceful as a stream. However, I suppose, philosophically, it is a matter of perspective. There are times when a stream swells from too much water too fast and the currents will run deep and fast. Thought provoking post-at least, for me!

I would love some peace and quiet like this right now!
