I'm sorry to hear about your foot incident.
I don't wear these shoes often. But for a dollar who can resist right?! I wear them mostly during special occasions and Sundays. I can say I am more a sneaker type of girl :)

Thanks for sharing a thought :)
Have a great weekend!

A golf course is a perfect place to stroll - as long as you are not playing that frustrating game at the same time! This place is full of tall trees and really relaxing shadows!

Hello and thank you for your comment on my blog. I´m absolutely impressed that a woman with 82 years is blogging. You can be proud!
I´m 44 years old, married, unfortunately no children but two lovely tiny doggies. I live in a small village with lots of green between wine hills (don´t know if it is the right word). To france it is only 4 kilometers and I love france very much and use every possibility to make a trip there.
I work as a nurse for people with dementia - sometimes it is funny but sometimes it is very hard. I have a second job in a gasoline station and in my spare time I enjoy making trips, gardening, reading and do some little hooking. I love to visit flea markets and to find something vintage and antique.

Your picture from the green park has a quiet and peaceful expression - love it really.

I wish you a sunny sunday and a beautiful new week,

Tanja from germany

That looks like a live oak tree! Beautiful shadows -- and I love that tree. I read the first comment as I was scrolling down and went back to see what happened with your foot? I must have missed that post somehow. I hope you are OK.

Hi LV, This is a lovely shadow and a beautiful place to enjoy a nice stroll.

We are expecting rain for the next three days. I will be happy to stay home, make some soup and just maybe get some visiting in.

I hope you are having a lovely Sunday.
Hugs, Jeanne

Strolling this inviting path with someone you love would be the best stroll of all!

SHADOW PLAY

Shadows like horses, shadow likes chicks,
Shadows like houses built with red bricks;

Shadows much taller than a high wall—
No matter their shape, I love them all!

I think that it's the shadows that "make" a photo and a painting!
