Shadow Shot Sunday

This is my first post for SSS. I have seen some of various ones in the past and enjoyed them. If you would like to see other interesting shadows, go to http://heyharriet.blogspot.com. Tracy at "Shadow Shot Sunday" would love having you drop by.

A shadow tree, growing on the wall!

BITS OF SHADOW

Bits of shadow and blasts of light,
Morning and evening, noon and night;

Days of darkness, gloomy and drear;
Sometimes bright ones, bringing good cheer;

Spring or winter, summer or fall,
Light or shadow—embrace them all!

LV.....Happy to have you onboard. Have not been online a lot these past weeks, but am up and running again. Have about deserted my other Buttons for Baga blog for this one. The photography has taken me away from all of the sewing, quilting, knitting, and crafting I have done in the past. Hope all have been well with you and that you had a fine summer. School is back in session so I am once again at work. 72 and going strong. Cannot imagine really being retired. This shadow shot is magical. Love the way the leaves are dancing on the building behind. You were there with the trusty camera at that perfect moment. Have a nice week and will hope to see you back here again next weekend. genie

This is a busy shadow, bit a shadow full of nature and life. Given the terrible current Lone Star drought, the tree subject still has its leaves, perhaps defiant against what the sun is doing now. A fine first shadow!

Leaves and branches make for intricate and interesting shadows. Nicely done.

I love that you're a young 82. My mom is a young 90. But she doesn't blog.

Cheers!
