Pink Saturday

It is always such a joy when Pink Saturday rolls around. Beverly at http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog takes us into the weekend with style.

The way the economy is going and so many banks failing, this may be the safest place to put your savings.

I visited another great blogger this week. Her blog is called "Colony Mountain Stitcheries" (click HERE). She is a maker of Native American Dolls. You cannot imagine the work she does until you see it. The dolls are unbelievable. Creating rustic and weathered vignettes is a passion of hers as well. Please take the time to give this very talented lady a visit at http://colonymountainstitcheries.blogspot.com.

This is to inform you I will not have a Pink Saturday post on September 17th. If nothing happens, I will be in Colorado on that date.

Happy PS!
I will check back later this weekend and see if the link works then.

LV, thank you for doing the link to my blog. And, of course, I loved your comments...no wonder you are my favorite blogger! I have been thinking about a name for the L doll, and have decided she will be Lavoice. Wish I could hop in and go to Colorado, too. Hope you have a wonderful and COOLer time!! Mary

Thank goodness for those old fashioned piggy banks. Younger generation might need some place to store plastic. LOL!

WOW, That is one nice round, fat pig that has been eating lots of corn and will provide a safe stash for our losing economy.
Have a wonderful weekend in Colorado next week.

The fact that you are the age you are and doing THIS makes you the exceptional woman, sugar! Most of the people in my church my age are afraid to even learn the computer and have a blog. I'm the youngest 70 year old I know. I have to keep up with my grandchildren and now, our new great granddaughter whose parents are computer geniuses! ;-)
