Vintage Thingies Thursday

Coloradolady at http://coloradolady would like to invite you to join her for Vintage Thingies Thursday. Some of her friends will show some of the best vintages around.

This is a very vintage little dish. When we growing up, we ate a lot of oatmeal. My sister refused to eat hers in anything but this dish. She treasures this dish as it was our mothers and her favorite. She has it even today in mint condition.
This did not turn out too well on the bottom markings.
An old movie sign I saw in an antique mall. Great movies were made back then.
A vintage Christmas wish to all my blogging readers. May you all be blessed with good health and prosperity during the New Year.

Oh LV, I love the oatmeal bowl! I have certain bowls that I eat out of, too! I call them my happy bowls. Yours is much more prettier than any of mine.
I have IBS and eating is a chore most of the time and very bland. It is not fun for me to eat, but I have to or get sick. Having my happy bowls makes it easier to deal with for me.
Wishing you all good things, but mostly love during Christmas and I hope you are surrounded by those you love most.

Hugs- Tete

They just don't make them like they did back then...movies and all our vintage treasures. What a nice story behind that wonderful bowl. I really believe that everything tastes better when it's served in something beautiful.
