SECRET SANTA ARRIVED

This is my second year to participate in the Secret Santa Soiree. Georgie, "Decisionally Challenged" at http://georgienba.blogspot.com has been the hostess for three years. It has been a blast for me. It requires a lot time and work. I regret she is contemplating not doing this any more. I understand her reasons. Georgie, I truly have enjoyed being a part of this event, and think you have done an excellent job. Should you decide to give it up, I will miss you very much. Thank you for letting me participate in the Secret Santa Soiree.

Stacy
at http://truebluetexan.blogspot.com was my Secret Santa. She is a lady that lives in Hill Country which is one the nicest places to live or visit. She selected the following sweatshirt for me. Each one is definitely Texas.

I enjoy most of Willie Nelson's songs. He was born and raised in Texas. Also, still makes his home here.

Anyone that watched TV knows Walter Cronkite. He was of the nicest TV personalities for a long time. He always made us fellow Texans proud.

There is nothing better than a big bowl of Blue Bell ice cream. It is a well known establishment located in the heart of Brenham,Texas.

She was going to include another well know Texas institution, Dublin, Texas Dr. Pepper. Nothing finer. Wish I had one right now. She could not get it all to fit on the shirt.

Now when I saw Shiner, that threw me. I have lived in Texas all my life, but did not know about Shiner. After a little internet research, I learned it is located in Shiner,Texas in Hill Country. This distributor has been producing this drink for years. It, and many other brands, are very popular. Lord only knows what would happen to me if I drank one. Nevertheless, it is a big thing in Texas. The art work on the shirt is Stacy's personal blog logo holding his bottle of Shiner.

This is the sweatshirt she had designed for me. It is so warm and comfortable. I will be happy to show off the things that makes Texas proud. Thank you very much Stacy for your ideas on this.

She did not stop with that, she included a gift card to Whataburger. I eat way too many Whataburger Jr's. This will be enjoyed to the last bite.

Now this is the recipient of these gifts. However, that is Egg Nog I am holding, not Shiner. I love Egg Nog, spirit free of course. This is not the greatest of photos, but best I could do at taking myself.

Thank you very much Stacy for being such a good Secret Santa. Blessings to you and family during the holidays.

MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY YEAR YEAR
