Mushroom Wednesday

Outdoor Wednesday has arrived again. Susan at http://asoutherndaydreamer.blogspot.com would like each of you to join her for this special day.

A couple of months ago when we were having rain, nature provided me with a variety of mushrooms.

You did get some interesting mushrooms after the rain. I've not seen any red mushrooms around here.

Wow! I'm surprised to see so many different kinds in one spot. Some of those we never get here. Thanks for an interesting post, and your always kind comments.

Great pictures of all of the mushrooms, LV. We never did get must rain this past summer or fall --so we didn't have nearly as many mushrooms as we sometimes do...

We had snow again today (about 1/2 an inch) -and tonight it is 16 degrees right now. Brrrrr.
Hugs,
Betsy

Thank you for stopping by - your comments are always very welcome!

Those red ones look as if they should have a gnome sitting on top!

Love your mushroom shots LV. Here in NC I have seen the most beautiful mushrooms at times. They are an interesting study. Your photos are very good and the mushrooms are unusual.
Have a happy day,
Hugs, Jeanne

It's wonderful that you have found beauty and interest in what so many of us consider a nuisance. I pluck the mushrooms from my yard and chunk them into the woods. Next one will be viewed with a completely different perspective. Thanks.

Brings back memories from when I was a little girl and how I loved to kick mushrooms over in the yard. I always thought it was magical that mushrooms would suddenly appear after rain.
Have a happy day!
