Sky Watch Friday

Sky Watch Friday with just a touch of Easter for this coming Sunday.

I took this early one morning before good daybreak. Did not have night feature turned on my camera. Look close through the darkness, there is a glimmer of sky breaking through.

such a lovely photo, and yes I can see day beginning to break! I love your carved headboard and that fact that it's a family heirloom makes it all the sweeter :)

LV,

I think this is one of my all time favorite pictures. I love the dark silhouettes of the trees while the light rises up in the background.

Those clouds are a little dramatic and beautiful! I love the different shades of pink....they paint up the sky so gloriously! I love the dark sillouette of the trees with the hint of light in the sky coming through! There's just something about the peace and stillness of dawn that brings me such joy! Great shots!

I like the way the blue of the sky in the first is like a pool in the middle of the colors and the sky breaking through in the second shot is great.

Beautiful photos! I could stare at the sky for hours and hours, fascinated.

Have you ever seen the paintings of clouds John Constable did while sitting on Hampstead Heath in London? he got so caught up that I think he ended up painting more than 50 canvasses of just clouds.

Happy Easter!
