Outdoor Wednesday

For a great showing of some of natures great beauty, join me for Outdoor Wednesday. Susan, A Southern Daydreamer, at http://asoutherndaydreamer.blogspot.com/ is a super hostess for this special day.

I saw these goats along the roadside. They looked like they were enjoying a grassy meal for the day.

This is a mother bird calling her brood in for their feeding.

Those goats are doing a good job of replacing the lawn mower.

Your link is defective. You left out an "e" in your link. I can't fix it as it's not my meme. Perhaps you should link in again so that others can find you.

Those goats look like they are have a good day! LOL My husband keeps saying we should get a goat so he wouldn't have to mow the grass. :)

There's always something calming about seeing animals "in the wild". I suppose it comes from memories of a simple, quiet life when everything felt right in the world -- or maybe it's just me. :D

I love your short bio. It's very inspiring. I'm a fan!

Thanks for your visit. :)

LV,

There must be something to all that sunshine and enjoying a meal beneath it all.

We have friends who rent a herd of goats to tend their lawn in late summer. She says she always wanted to be a shepherd. I guess she's close enough :-).

What is it about goats that makes them so likable? (is that spelled right?)
They just seem like the clowns of the farm yard.
We knew someone who's goats ate the side of her house. Yikes.
