Blue Monday

Nothing too exciting for Blue Monday, but wanted to let you know I am finally home after a month at my sisters.  Not back in full blogging mode yet, but bear with me, rest is on the way. Take a minute and drop in on Jeanne at backyardneighbor.typepad.com

Dearest LV, I am so happy to see your post this morning. I have missed you so much. Welcome home. I hope all is well with your sister.

The blue door with the little child knocking is adorable. A great find to share on Blue Monday.

We are in Raleigh, NC visiting our son and his family. We had such a surprise to learn as we pulled in their driveway that they were moving to a new beautiful home two miles away from where they had lived for 14 years. It is a lovely home and I will share a photo soon.

I hope you are resting up my sweet friend.
Love,
Jeanne

Such a sweet scene. The door looks so large next to the young girl. Great to see you blogging again.

Dearest LV.,
Glad you made it back safe and sound.
One month at your sister's; that sounds like a generous time for spending together.
I did not have that luxury, only a 16-day trip to Europe, for a wedding in the south of France.
We did drive down from The Netherlands, after visiting my 95.5 year old Dad and my favorite brother and sister. When we got back from France, Switzerland (passing through) and Germany (visiting friends), I did visit all of my siblings, three cousins, a former elementary friend and other friends.
Got exhausted after driving 4,135 km by myself, as Pieter is no longer able to drive at the European Interstates.
Catching up slowly and also adjusting emotionally as it is never easy for letting go again...
Hugs,
Mariette

Welcome home (to Texas and to Blogland). I always worry a bit when my favorite people don't show up on my Feedly for a while. But I did remember you were with your sister and hope all is well at her home.
