Anything Goes Pink Saturday

Even though we can share anything, I tend to want to have something pink when I can find it.  Beverly makes sure each week we are entertained at http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog

My one and only pink Calla lily.

Had the occasion to eat at a little restaurant in the Dallas area not long ago. The menu was on pedestal that turned with little brown paper sacks to write your order on. These are some of the sacks that customers used for personal messages. They covered one entire wall.

The brown bags are a clever idea! I would like to eat there just because of them! But was the food good? I have never known anyone who has Calla Lillys in their yard! I figured they were so exotic that they needed a greenhouse. You must have a green thumb!

I do love calla lillies--and always think of Katherine Hepburn with that famous line of hers delivered with such panache. Now, that restaurant sounds very interesting. Clever menu idea, but I just hope the food was good.
Joy!

The calla lily is lovely. I have eaten at a sandwich place where you write your order on a paper bag. I wonder if it was the same one. Which Wich!

Good morning LV, This is the second time I have tried to comment and my computer is acting up so nothing can connect. Sigh

We are leaving today and we are anxious to get home. Our great granddaughter is so adorable and meeting her a blessing to us. We have had a wonderful time. Don't worry we are careful on the road and used to traveling by car.

The pink Calla lily must be gorgeous in person. The photo was a bit fuzzy. I loved the paper bag story so much.

Take care my sweet friend.
Love, jeanne

Dearest LV.,
Love Calla lilies, we used to have several white and green ones but they must have been eaten up by critters.
Enjoy your special pink one.
Sending you hugs,
Mariette
