Blue Monday

Take a minute and drop by backyardneighbor.typepad.com and say hello to our hostess, Jeanne. You will be delighted by all the blue sights you will find.

A tower in Arlington, Texas which joins Fort Worth, Texas where I live. At least, it has a tiny, blue star.

Sorry, I have no clue as to what this pretty, light blue flower is.

Those flowers are so unique! And I love the blinking blue macaw. The tower is almost pretty now.

Good morning LV, I am so sorry I didn't get to visit you on PS. We are getting ready to leave on vacation and I had so much to do. On Friday night I had 16 ladies here to play Bunco. They all brought food and we had a blast. However, it took a lot of my time away from the things I had on my to do list. I am trying hard to visit everyone I can this morning.

The knockout roses are very pretty. I love them too. My didn't make it a couple of winters ago because of 0 temps for several days. Now I have hydrangeas in their place. They are getting ready to bloom and they are blue. I can't wait to share them on Blue Monday.

Your dainty light blue flowers are gorgeous. I would take time to look them up but not today.

Happy blue Monday my sweet friend.

Love, Jeanne

Your flower photos are beautiful. I love those red flowers - are they a type of lily? I think that garden fence is fabulous. What a beautiful garden!! It looks like it gets a lot of TLC.

Today is lovely, but I have the chills so I'm going to lay low all day. Tomorrow will be better, I'm sure.

You have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.

Hi LV, I'm going to guess that is a water tower. Arlington is pretty creative with the look on that one. Neat post ... thanks for sharing ... and brightening up a "blue Monday". :-) Wishing you a fine week ahead!

I love that flower, but have no idea of what it is either. Is it from around this area?

Hi LV
I did see that blue star on the water tower--a true Texas design! The blue flowers are pretty--they look like wildflowers I've seen before. Have a good week!

Dearest LV.,
Lovely Erythronium albidum (White Trout Lily) you show us here partly. It is not easy to know, without seeing its leaves...
Sending you hugs and blessings for the remainder of May.
