Pink Saturday

Nice to be able to spend a Saturday with Beverly and friends at http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog
I have no idea what this lovely bloom is.  My neighbor recently took a trip to New Mexico and shared this with me.
Another shot of my Rose of Sharon.  It has really outdone itself this year.

Lovely flowers!!!

I hope you have a great Pink Saturday!! We are in the second (or third) downpour of the afternoon, so our flowers are gonna be messed up for a bit. We do need the rain so I'm grateful for that!

HPS!!

I agree...it's a hollyhock...and a very pretty one, too. Thanks for your visit today and your comment on my Home and Rug Quotes post....my reply.."heart shaped rug...I have seen them and hope to make one...lovely! I have an oval one my mother made years ago...it's a treasure." Happy Pink Saturday, LV.

Dear LV, Thank you for always visiting me my sweet friend. We were traveling on Saturday so I haven't had time to comment. We went to Knoxville to visit our oldest daughter who had a hip replacement on Wednesday. She is home and doing very well, Thank goodness.

Today we are in Raleigh, NC visiting our son and to bowl in the State Competition for Senior Games. I hope I bowl well. We head for home tomorrow. Our lives never slow down. Yikes.

Your hollyhock photo is very pretty. My grandmother always grew them along her fence on the side of her yard. I should plant some and see how they do here.

Happy Pink Saturday.
Love, Jeanne
