This dresser really Is old! BUT, it is in such good shape! I wonder if someone refinished it?

Beautiful! I once had a pretty vanity with a huge round mirror that had belonged to my aunt. Must've been made in the 40s.

Wow....this piece of furniture is one super work of art. So vintage...and by the looks of your photo share, definitely in such pristine shape.

I had one almost like this when I was in high school and still have a much smaller version of it. It is really too small for my present bed but I still like it.

I wouldn't mind something like this. It would be nice for putting on make-up and fixing my hair.

Its a beautiful piece of furniture. I remember my mother sitting in front of one very like that to make up her face and brush her hair. Now I just use the bathroom mirror. Who has time to sit these days.

That is a wonderful piece! My grandma had a dresser like this only not quite so fancy. I remember her sitting in front of the mirror and brushing her hair that was so long it touched her feet. She would braid it and wrap it around her head. Love this post!

My sister had a vanity very similar in my grandparents house. Goodness I wish I had one! Nothing today comes close to the quality and craftsmanship from years gone by. Hugs, Anne
