Vintage Thingie Thursday

Another exciting day for Vintage Thingie Thursday. So many neat and interesting vintage goodies can be found at http://coloradolady.blogspot.com

The following is the tiniest canister set ever.  It belongs to my sister. A few years ago, she downsized almost to the bear walls, but kept this little treasure. The set was given to her by our niece, Coloradolady many years ago.

This very inexpensive duck planter also belongs to my sister.  Our mother gave it to her back in the mid-forties for Christmas. I got a different style planter, according to my sister, but do not recall what it was or what happened to it.

Hi LaVoice, happy to have your reminders again. Aren't memories wonderful things. My sister and I remember the same times quite differently, we were just talking about that today.

What cute vintage pieces, LV. How nice to see you posting here again. I took several days away from blogging. I hope you got my card and SweetCheeks sent you one, too! xo Diana

Both are very unusual things! Now I am thinking what could be put inside the tiny canisters! This will entertain me all night. Safety pins, toothpicks, buttons, change...

I love the little tiny treasures!
Funny, the things that have an attached memory are the things that we can not part with. Great story.
Hugs,

The duck planter is so cute. It was really fun to learn (when you were sick) that Colorado Lady is your niece. Good blogs run in your family!
