Cherished Moments Tuesday With MeMe

Best Wishes to all for a

CHRISTMAS
Lasting Memories

Christmas has come and gone and the New Year has rung in.  However, I would like to take this opportunity to let you know I was very, very blessed in so many ways during the holidays. Santa came to see me from many places. My blogging friends were great with all their gifts and well wishes.  I am very honored and thankful to have been remembered by each and everyone. Even my Christmas cactus bloomed on the right day.

This little magnet really touched me. I received it from a blogging friend that has had a hard row to hoe for sometime. She took the time to think of me and spent money she could have used for her needs. I can never find the right words to express my gratitude to her. She definitely put the true meaning back into CHRISTmas.

However, one of the most meaningful and memorial things to me, was my visit to the nursing home. They loved it and so did I. Turned out I came away blessed as much as they were.

Speaking of seniors (me), there were some very nice Santa Elves that really made my  Christmas extra special.Their visit was totally unexpected.

Santa's Elves were really busy. They stopped first in Oregon to pick up some great lavender products. (Shown on Wednesday, December 26). After that, they went to Broken Arrow, Okla and picked up another lovely gift. That is not all, the Elves next two stops were in Texas. This is one occasion I will always remember. A delightful surprise. The only name from the "senders" were Santa Elves. To everyone involved in the process, a great big THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart.Your thoughtfulness was truly appreciated and touched me deeply. Your kindness and caring meant so much to me.

Hello LV, I can't go to bed without wishing you a wonderful 2013. Your post is so sweet and it is no surprise that your are so loved by so many. I am very happy that the holidays were so special. That is because you are special.

We arrived home after Christmas from our trip to Europe. We had a wonderful time. The sights were amazing and we would love to go again. A different place though. It is good to be home though.

We quietly celebrated the New Year but tomorrow my sisters and NC family will be here for dinner. A small crowd of 15. Fun times.

Happy New Year my dear blogging friend.
Blessings and love,
Jeanne
