Fashion Show Vintage Thursday

Taking you  back in time for the latest fashion trends. Take a minute and stop by Coloradolady's Vintage Thingie for many interesting vintage finds.  She can be reached at http://coloradolady.blogspot.com or click her button.

This model is my mother.  She was born in 1907 and we lost her in 1961.  As you can see, these styles go a long way back. She made most of our cloths until the 40s.

These  were made  a little later.  We had store bought suits. Guess who that is on the right.

Your mother was a beautiful lady, with a figure like a model and so do you lovely LV. I love your picks, I'd love to see more of you, as I love that kind of feminine suits you girls wore in those days, my mother is your age and she's doing just fine. Thank you for sharing lovely lady. Big hugs,
FABBY

I like the older fashions of those decades, feminine and comfortable looking. You mom made a lovely model.

LV...how special are these photos. Your mother looks very fashionable and the thought that she made all those outfits and your clothes, too is a great memory. Happy VTT.

Loved seeing the pictures of your Mom. She may of made her dresses but looked the height of fashion. She was so young when you lost her.
Thanks for sharing with us!
