Tuesday With MeMe

Several years ago, my sister gave me this little doggie for Christmas.  She believes in giving fun gifts instead of practical ones. He even came with a full wardrobe of clothing.  Had a change  far every special day throughout the year. However, I only dressed him once for the Fourth of July. Afraid the neighbors would really think I had flipped my led.

His little sign said "Welcome".  I had him sitting on my entryway for several years. Then to my dismay, one day he disappeared.  I looked everywhere, but he was nowhere in sight.

A long time had passed, and one day  my niece was driving down the street and saw him sitting in this drive.  Come to find out, they lived in my same area just a few blocks behind me.  During all this time, I passed there but never saw him until she noticed it.

I walked to the house, and sure enough there he sat next to that little shrub.  Not knowing if  the people were home or acquainted with them, I did not dare approach the house.  I took these pictures from the street. I wanted to get him so bad, but felt perhaps someone needed him more than me. I kept an eye on him for several days.  Then one day, they were having the trim on their house painted, and he disappeared.  Trust whatever happened to him, he is at peace.

As you can see, I am playing around with some of the features on the new version.

That certainly is a cute welcoming dog. I hope he hasn't disappeared for good. It would be wonderful if he was to be returned to you.

It really bother's me when people take what does not belong to them.
My parents purchased my Grandma a big ceramic snail that said "Mom's Garden" on it's shell. Grandma loved it so much she had it in her front garden. Sadly someone took the snail and a pretty pot full of flowers she had just arranged days prior.

Your doggie was very cute. It's too bad he went missing and then disappeared again. I hope you get a replacement.

Sorry, but I would have been seeking the help of the biggest, toughest guy I know. I would have had him escort me to the front door and asked a few questions.

I bet you would have left with your pooch.

Its not to late to take your photos to the local police station and have them go do the questioning for you.

Oops, I forgot to mention that people expect to get away with these kinds of acts because they know the majority of people will not go making waves or rocking any boats. Usually, they cave at the first sign of trouble.

Just offering the advice of one who was married to a police officer for ages.
