Blue Monday/First,Fifth,Forever

Sally forgive me for doubling up on your Blue Monday. I rarely do this, but we seniors need all the help we can get. Just so happened the FFF fell on a Monday this month. Please join Sally along with all her many friends at http://smilingsally.blogsopt.com for the best blues ever.
I saw this lovely stained glass in an antique mall. I thought of Sally when I saw it. To me, it represented a tree of life with the little flowers blog friends sending wishes for a healthy day. Even the sun is smiling through.

Coloradolady is our hostess for these special senior moments. You never know who you will meet through this program. I sent the two gentlemen, Mr. Melkoskie, Mr.Shaw, and Mrs.Betty Smith cards along with a dollar. Trust they all had great August birthdays.

I have decided the older you get the better the birthday. I have been truly blessed with so many lovely cards and gifts from blogging friends and family. Also, two of my blogging buddies sent me greetings on an email. They were very special.

This is an CD of hymns by The Masters and a card from blogger, Jocelyn, of Lutz,FL. So many of the hymns are my favorites. Thank you very, very much.

These are the other cards received from the blog world.
These cards are from various family members and friends.
These three were received after I had made the above pictures. I was blessed with 16 cards from blogging friends and 21 from various others.

Thank you each and everyone for a glorious and wonderful birthday.

;) on a wonderful birthday full of fun cards from so many! I think you rate pretty high on many lists.
Love your blue stain glass window. Love the way the tree branches weave in and out and reach up. So pretty.
Hope you are getting a break from all that heat out there and some much needed rain.
We are so cool and I am sitting here with the windows open. Got an extra blanket out, down in the 60s.
We have plans to bake a pie first thing in the morning to warm things up a tad. Fall is showing it's face more every day.
Have a great weekend!
Hugs- Tete

I am in love with the blue stained glass. I've been looking at different ones at one of our local antique stores. I might just up and buy one.
