Blue Monday Cast

Today, Sally is having a special guest on Blue Monday. Since this is his favorite show, he likes to make an appearance once in awhile. Check out all the Blue Monday participates at http://smilingsally.blogspot.com.

This is what Layton and his friends were doing. However, one of the children decided to jump out of the swing while in the air. Naturally, Layton was going to try it as well. Only problem, he landed on his arm the wrong way. It is not broken but has a fracture. The kids at his school think it is cool him having a blue cast.

As you can tell, it is not bothering him too much. He just keeps on playing and smiling.

So sorry about Layton--hard for any kid to get through childhood without breaking something. Hope he heals quickly. Love your "pink" shots-so pretty. Mickie

Oh, gosh, jumping out while it was in the air! You do have a little daredevil! I hope it doesn't hurt anymore, he looks so happy. And maybe just a bit proud of that pretty cast? Well, kids bounce back so much quicker than we seniors do! Maybe now he will be more cautious? I hope!

I have heard that a fracture is a break.

Layton looks like he is a great sport about such an unfortunate turn of events.

Beautiful blues -- your grandson (great-grandson? I forget) seems not to be letting his fracture get him down. Boy, kids have been divebombing out of swings ever since probably before I was a little kid -- and that's a long time ago ;>)....

Loved the pink post below as well --

Hi LV, I did my blue post this past Friday and pre dated it. Thaen I forgot to link up this morning. Sigh. I was gone most of the day.

Layton is the cutest little guy ever. He just did what most little boys would do. How fun for you that he had a blue cast. Big Smile.

I bet he gives the best great grandma hugs.
