Outdoor Wednesday

This is my Outdoor Wednesday snow show. All this is made possible by Susan, A Southern Daydreamer. Nature's beauty abounds every Wednesday.

All these snow pictures are from our Christmas blizzard in Texas. The news said this was the first time we had such weatherin 80 years.

I hope you enjoyed your white Christmas this year! It might be another 80 years before it happens again. Very nice photos for Outdoor Wednesday!

2009 brought snow to Texas? Perhaps it will be another 80 plus years before it snows again in Texas. Promise of Spring is just around the corner. Nice post.

The photos are beautiful. Looks cold. This winter is really strange cause it is the first time I have seen it snow during the day here too, though it did not stay on the ground....Christine

I had to laugh [sorry] about the term blizzard....Me, coming from Colorado where I grew up, the Texas [and I live in Texas now]...this is far from a blizzard.

But Texas has had some odd weather this year. First the drought, then snow...then so much rain in our area of Texas that the ground moves when we walk...you know the TX soil!!!

COME ON OVER & SEE SOME c - SHELLS!

Wow! What part of Texas are you in? We are in central Texas and got a few flurries on Christmas Eve. And that was quite enough for me! The pictures are beautiful though, and if it's going to snow once every 80 years, Christmas is the perfect time for it. Thanks for the visit! Kathy

Morning, I love snow pictures, but not the mess it brings when you live in the country. Everything is
wet, muddy and tracks into my house.

Oppps, I sound like an old fuss bucket, sorry.
Beautiful pictures, thanks for sharing.

Pretty pics. Quite unusual weather for TX...but not quite what we would consider a blizzard up here in NE Iowa! =) We have plenty of snow...and wind and ice and all that good stuff.

Received your card from Kat's Christmas card exchange. Thank you for that. Thought I'd take some time to visit your blog...and look around. I will be back.

Many blessings in 2010!

It looks like this is going to be a strange and different winter for everyone. So much snow and below normal temps. Looking forward to spring...

LV,

Hard to believe that is actually snow in Texas and not white sand which is exactly what it looks like. I bet you are glad this is not the weather outside your window today!

Stay warm and stay blessed!

WOW ... what a delightfully white wintry wonderland made all the more amazing since it doesn't happen often where you live. Thanks for sharing.
Hugs and blessings,

Love your snow photos, even though I'm not a snow lover. And I really don't like to think of Texas as being a snowy place, since I'll be moving back there one of these days! But your photos make it look so peaceful and lovely.
Happy Outdoor Wednesday!

LV I hate to tell you, but more is coming your way -- yep -- the wind has started up here and the temp is going to drop bad -- it's warm at the moment, going down to NINE degrees tomorrow night, they are saying...we have put a lot of food out for the birds, they don't understand this weather, they are Texas birdies!!!

I was so surprised when I heard you had snow - you had some before we did in in my part of Ontario!

You've gotten much more snow than we've gotten here in Tennessee. It looks very pretty -- as long as you don't have to go out in it.

Like here in California, where I live, it's such a treat because it doesn't happen very often.
Lovely photos......
